The 8th International Conference on Computer Information Science and Application Technology (CISAT 2025) Successfully Concluded in Kunming


From July 11 to 13, 2025, the 8th International Conference on Computer Information Science and Application Technology (CISAT 2025) was successfully held in Kunming. The conference was hosted by Yunnan University and organized by the School of Information Science & Engineering of Yunnan University. The event brought together over a hundred experts and scholars from home and abroad to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on cutting-edge fields such as computer information science, artificial intelligence, and applied technologies

At the opening ceremony, Professor Wenhua Qian from Yunnan University delivered a welcome address on behalf of the host, extending sincere greetings to the attending experts and scholars and emphasizing the importance of academic exchange in advancing disciplinary development and research innovation.

The keynote speech session was highly impressive. Six distinguished scholars were invited to deliver plenary talks: Professor Loi Lei Lai (IEEE Life Fellow) from DRPT International Incorporated, Australia; Professor Nong Sang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Professor Qijun Zhao, Associate Dean of the College of Computer Science at Sichuan University; Professor Yu Liu from Hefei University of Technology; Professor Sudeep Tanwar from Nirma University, India; and Professor Wenhua Qian from Yunnan University. Their presentations covered a wide range of frontier topics, including machine learning for smart cities, video anomaly detection and understanding, multimodal animal recognition, multimodal medical image fusion, blockchain and AI integration for next-generation networks, and cultural digital simulation and visual comprehension, sparking lively discussions and deep reflections among the audience.

In addition to the keynote speeches, oral presentation sessions were held simultaneously in both on-site and online formats. Twenty-one scholars from various universities, research institutions, and enterprises shared their latest research findings. The conference also received over 200 paper submissions and featured 116 poster presentations, fully demonstrating the research vitality and innovative depth in the field of computer information science
